We wish to inform you that the office will be closed on the 9th and 10th of Muharram in observance of Ashura. This year, the dates fall on 16th & 17th July 2024, and these days are significant for many within community of Central Park Lahore.

Ashura, observed on the 10th day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar, holds deep historical and spiritual significance. For many Muslims, it marks the day of mourning for the martyrdom of Hussain ibn Ali, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, at the Battle of Karbala. The events of Ashura are remembered with respect and reverence, involving prayers, fasting, and communal gatherings in all the major housing societies of Lahore including Central Park Housing Scheme, New Metro City Lahore, Urban City Lahore, Al Hafeez Garden Phase 2, Kingdom Valley Lahore, Green Palms Lahore, Dream Gardens, Park Avenue Lahore, Eastern Housing Lahore & Iqbal Garden.
Office Closure Details
- Dates: 9th and 10th Muharram
- Days: Tuesday& Wednesday on 16th and 17th July 2024
- Reopening Date: The office will reopen on Thursday18th July 2024.
